The Commission adopted on 19 October its work programme for 2022 in six major ambitions which sets out the next steps in its policy for a greener, fairer, more digital and more resilient post-COVID-19 Europe.
With the aim of making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, it will notably propose a regulatory framework for the certification of carbon removals.
