Should we change a winning recipe? Not at all! Especially not when a citizen consultation can bring positive ideas.
With this in mind, Charleroi’s councilors have decided to solicit their residents for the 6th time, by launching a call for projects likely to strengthen cohesion and conviviality. Through this channel, associations, neighborhood committees and various citizen groups are invited to share their ideas with the enthusiasm of a modern-day “Spirou”.
For this new consultation, endowed with 40,000 euros, the Carolinas authorities have chosen to focus on three themes:
- the development of nature in the heart of the city and in the neighborhoods
- the fight against all forms of harassment, whether in the street or at school
- the organization of activities for young people and their families, in connection with the services of the ATL (Accueil Temps Libre)
At the same time, we know that the city is working on the implementation of a digital platform that also intends to serve the residents. Hand in hand, all these ideas have the same objective: to give a new face to democratic culture.
