The Galapagos Marine Reserve, a biodiversity paradise in the Pacific Ocean, has been expanded by 60% with a new nature reserve called “Fraternity”. This 60,000 km² marine reserve is in addition to the 138,000 km² reserve that has existed since March 1998, famous in particular for its turtles.
